One day I read a something that said, “The greatest gift you can give your family and the world is a healthy you.” This means that your health is the most important thing in your life. If someone has a serious disease that will limit their life expectancy they will have an unhappy life and unfulfilled life even if they are a millionaire.
We should try to stay as healthy as we can because we only have one life. First, to stay healthy we should exercise regularly. Experts recommend that we should exercise more than 3 times a week and at least 30 minutes a day. Most people know that exercise can help us improve our physical strength, prevent illness and also lose weight. We should choose types of exercise that are within our limits and that we enjoy doing. These are very important, otherwise we won’t consistently do them and we will give up on it easily.
We should also make sure to get enough sleep. Nit getting enough sleep at night will make you feel tired every day. The recommended amount is 7-8 hours a night, but most people don’t sleep well because of working and studying too much and wasting too much time on their smart
Finally, we should stay positive and confident. When we are faced with difficult tasks and situations we need to overcome them and succeed. If we stress and worry about them too much we won’t be able to complete them successfully. We are better in completing tasks with a smile and positive thinking rather than with a negative mind. The Halo Effect, Placebo Effect and the Pygmalion Effect show the power of positive thinking.
I think a healthy life is a happy life. These are very simple and boring strategies, but also necessary and essential. When we stick to the basics we can live a much happier and joyful life.
