JJU E-welfare home social enterprise team(team leader Lee-sujin et al.) told that they will be holding an online flea market until June 3rd.
JJU Flea market is an event that inspects and classifies clothing products donated by students and staff at JJU, through a washing and inspection process, and sells them at low prices.
The event has been held 10 years started from 2011, and it was an originally offline event in front of the Star center convention center.
When this event was held offline, customer could see the products directly, wear them, make reasonable choices.
However, now it is held on online with SNS due to COVID-19; therefore, when purchasing on online, the seller delivers as quick as possible directly.
The main products have many kinds of clothes including jackets, cardigans, coats for outer, T-shirts, shirts, sweater for tops, pants, skirts for bottoms, bag and shoes.
Proceeds from the flea market are used to help the vulnerable in the local community for the public good of society.
In addition, various events are prepared for customers hosted by the social enterprise team. Refer to the Instagram (e_bokji_saki) for the duration of the event and how to participate.
The social enterprise team said, “Our small event makes a contribution to the the community, and thanks to our students who have been interested in the flea market, we have been able to run the flea market business so far.” and also said “I would like to recommend the flea market to many students that gives a rewarding and thrilling experience at the same time.”
