Although there are bus stops at the front and back gate of the campus, three new routes will be run in order to solve the inconveniences students have experienced.
The Student Council 48th BeːONE conducted a survey for two days from March 20th to 22nd in order to reflect the opinions of students. The result shows that 91.1% of the students supported the entry of city buses into the campus.
The bus(#4000) departs from Jeonju Station and arrives at Jeonju University via Gaeksa(객사) and the new cosmopolitan area(신시가지). Since Jeonju University has many students from other areas, this route will help students commuting through Jeonju Station from other regions.
Buses (#6001 and #6002) run by circulated routes that depart from Jeonju University and goes through new cosmopolitan area(신시가지), Hanok Village(한옥마을), and Seogok Park(서곡공원). Another bus goes around the campus of JJU. From the main gate, it goes through the Mango Six next to the Liberty Hall, Truth Hall, and the Student Union Hall. The newly opened routes will operate from January 1, 2022.
